My name is Anne-Catherine Frey and I decided that i want to work in Fashion when I was 14.
After studying fine arts, I moved to Paris to specialise on Fashion Design and Pattern Drafting. While studying I appeared frequently on Street Style Blogs and over the years collaborations with brands like Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Sonia Rykiel and Tod’s were made. Magazines such as Vogue US, Elle UK, Grazia Italy, InStyle Germany or Harper’s Bazaar US among others featured me as a design and street style influencer.
During my last year at Esmod, I got recruited by the french ready-to-wear brand The Kooples to design their growing womenswear line. I switched from part-time to full-time after graduating in 2012 and have been working as a Senior Womenswear Designer for The Kooples ever since, mainly being in charge for all their tailored, jersey, knitwear and leather pieces.
In 2015, I started working as a freelance Stylist next to designing. I've been working on multiple commercial projects such as numerous look books for The Kooples and on independant projects for magazines.
I also frequently work on polaroids, digital portraits and on my fashion illustrations.
